Four Chinese Governmental Bodies jointly promoting Tax-contol cashiers nationwide

Mr. Xie Xuren, Director general of the state Tax Administration made a statement on July 19 that it was the mature time to launch the tax-control cashiers at the national level. The tax-control cashiers should be installed at all industrial sectors such as retailing, restaurants, recreations, hospitality and transportation etc. and those tax payers who own fixed operating venues of a certain size of business should purchase the these cashiers.

The pilot citied that introduced the tax-control cashiers began in China in 1997. In view of the serious situation of avoiding issuing invoices and tax escaping by some enterprises, the government has strengthened the efforts in promoting the cashiers nationwide and in targeting the different ??shopping centers?? and special super markets.
